Liked that there isn’t a bulky hem around the foot. This makes them much mor comfortable.After trying several brands of compression stockings which claimed to be "short" in length, Jobst, is the only product that actually provides stockings for short people! I am 5'2" and the other thigh highs came all the way up to my hips. Jobst "short" stockings are actually thigh high for short people. Thank you Jobst!These work, and perform as advertised. I did not give it one star because I should have read the return policy in detail, but it was not clear when I made the purchase.. so 2 stars it is.Flew from San Francisco to Frankfurt and home while 19 and then 21 weeks pregnant. I had no swelling at all. I got up about every hour or two during the flight to take a loop around, and also drank lots of water.The tights were hardest to put on the first time, but after the first hand-washing and me getting the hang of it, it didn't take long. Unlike regular panty hose where you can basically roll it up in your hand then stretch them over your whole leg, you really have to start at the foot, pull up over the heel, then the calf, then the thigh.I am not sure, but if the tights that come to the knee give the same effect as the thigh-high ones, I would probably buy those instead. These came up almost all the way to my butt/underwear and then the elastic was just killing me. Couldn't wait to take them off after 20 hours of traveling through four airports.The benefit of the thigh-high over an actual tight was the convenience of using the bathroom. Again, I was pregnant and drinking lots and lots of water, so I probably used the toilet about 5-6 times during the flight. I imagine it would have been terrible to struggle with the belly in the tiny airplane lav stuffing myself back into tights.If you have a long flight and you want to avoid the risk of blood clots, these are probably a safe bet.
