These are great for open toe shoesThe color makes your legs look really pale.She likes the open toe. It shows off the polish and is not restricting.Let's face it. Thigh highs and toeless are never going to be the most comfortable stockings you've ever worn. That being said, these are fine, and most importantly, they stay up. If you wear them for a 10 hour work day or walk a lot in them, your toes will hurt a bit. The thigh part is more comfortable then I expected. I've worn them out 3 times now for a couple hours and did not have any issues. I'm a realtor and these have saved me on hot summer days when I'm constantly in and out of the car. I'm 56 and bare, untanned legs are not a good professional look for me! The nude matches my skin well. Wouldn't mind a little more sheerness. I'm buying more!Like others have said, the fit is pretty good, but the toe holes are way too small. I frequently buy Donna Karan "The Nudes" toe-less panty hose (unfortunately, she doesn't do stockings!) to wear with my open-toe heels in the winter, and the difference in putting them on with these from Marilyn is night and day, the DK ones are sooo much easier. But I must have stockings for the summer! The first time I tried to put the Marilyns on, I ran the left one (!), but after some experimenting with the damaged one, I figured it out. Now running isn't the problem, but they do tend to become somewhat uncomfortable in the toe area due to the tightness, over the course of a long day, or a night out. Also, compared to DK, these are a bit too shiny, and far less natural looking. Still, I must have my toeless stockings for summer, and these are the best I've found so far.I REALLY want to write a good review for this, but unfortunately I can not. I purchased this item to wear to my son's wedding. They are comfortable to wear, if your standing still. The sheerness was perfect for me. The stretch was fine. The fit was as expected. Since I was wearing a body shaper, I did not want to be fighting pantyhose and a body shaper if I needed to use the restroom. I was excited to receive this and use them. Sadly, I wore them for a total of 30 minutes. I was continuously fighting them to stay up. I would take 5 steps and they would be rolling down. I was sooo frustrated with them, I ended up taking them off. It was a waste of money for me.Fit is perfect the lace top is lovelyI love the sheer look and feel of these thigh highs. If it wasn't for a little shine, it wouldn't look like I had anything on my legs at all! I do have some issues with the top rolling down - which is why I didn't give 5 stars. I typically use garters, so it's not a huge issue for me, but something to know. The holes for the toes are very comfortable and though they fit tight to the skin, they do not cut or rub my foot.
