My rating scale:★★★★★- Exceeds expectations: My new Holy Grail product for its price point.★★★★☆- Meets expectations: Exactly as expected.★★★☆☆- Doesn’t really meet expectations: Would buy again only if I don’t know of a better product.★★☆☆☆-Fell significantly short of expectations: probably considering returning.★☆☆☆☆- Absolutely terrible: How is this still on the market?___Features: Sheer to waist, Flat seams, fully boarded (placed on a leg-shaped board and heated so that it conforms to the shape), cotton gusset, reinforced toe and heel (almost invisible), back panel on XL, non-irritating tag.___Pros: My first impression when I took them out of the package was how soft they are. They feel just as soft as a silk-blend pair that I also have. Once they were put on, they were just as soft then as well. If you rub on them from side to side, there’s very little friction, so the hose aren’t prone to shifting when one leg rubs against another (think thighs while walking, crossing legs, etc.)The waist band is really comfortable as well. No problems there for me.The material strikes me as the best of matte and glossy materials combined. It’s got that slickness of a glossy hose but the softness of matte. As delicate as they feel, they seem durable so far. Also, no bunching at the knees or ankles or sagging at the crotch. They fit well.Neutral: They feel really light, like a 10 denier hose. If you’re looking for a pair that you would almost forget you’re wearing them, these are it. If you’re looking for a pair that feels really nice, they may not. They feel like a gentle caress.Oddly enough, as smooth as they feel, they seem to grip clothing more than I expected so you may want to wear them with a slip.Cons: One issue I ran into with these the first time I wore them was that they sagged in the crotch area and I had to readjust them fairly often. The second time I wore them, I didn’t have that issue. I realized that the second time was after I had freshly shaven. I think it’s because of the direction the hairs grow- when the hose shifts down it just slides over the hair. When it tries to readjust upwards, the downward-angled hairs stop it, leading to the hose shifting down and staying there. I have not noticed this issue with other hose.___These are currently my favorite hose (and I do have a lot to compare to). They feel really delicate, but I haven’t had any issues with pulls, snags or other defects yet. Will update if that changes.
