The toe openings are tighter than I'd like, but other brands are as tight, if not tighter (I have a very wide, long foot 10EEE). To wear a closed toe, I have to buy a man's stocking to get enough length in the foot portion. The top band is very comfortable and stays up well. The ankle area is slightly looser than other brands I've tried, but that works well for me since my ankles are thick in proportion to my feet and calves. I wish these stockings were offered in a petite length as they are a little long for me and wrinkle up in the ankle area after I'm wearing them for a while. The material feels soft and is durable. The majority of the time I wash them by hand, but occasionally I will machine wash them using the gentle cycle and a laundry bag. I always hang them to dry. The stockings are not opaque, but they're not as sheer as the name makes them sound. I wish the price was lower, but at least you get what you pay for.
